Eclips Profile

Eclips Studio Inc. is owned and operated by Maureen Schmidt. The salon was purchased in 2005 with a staff of four employees. It has quickly established a reputation in the community for high quality service, as well as an employer of choice.

Eclips, an Aveda Concept Salon, underwent two renovations, one of which was the addition of a beautiful Day Spa. Additional skilled staff were hired to meet the needs of new and existing clients.

Aveda was founded on a vision to create high quality and highly effective naturally derived products that are good for clients and our earth - the very root mission of Aveda is environmental leadership. At Eclips, Maureen and her team use only Aveda products, biodegradable soaps, cleansers, towels and glasses. They work diligently to recycle, reuse and reduce waste daily.

Eclips generously donates to charitable fund raisers in the local area. Additionally, Eclips gives back to the industry and community by mentoring students from Oromocto High School, Majestany Institute and the Atlantic Hairstyling Academy.

Our goal at Eclips is to offer treatments which bring you back into balance by using nurturing high touch approaches , unique sensory experiences and naturally derived products from renewable plant and flower essences.
