Maureen has had the opportunity to live and work all across Canada. After graduation, she began her career in the banking industry and remained there for 15 years. While at home with her fourth child, she returned to school and studied business. Soon thereafter, she obtained a position at Star Choice Television Network and gained extensive knowledge working for a public company. In 2005, Maureen was looking for a new venture and the energy of a start-up company which resulted in the purchase of Eclips Studio Inc. New to this industry, Maureen participates in courses offered through Aveda Business College and mentors with other salon/spa owners. She also encourages and supports her employees to participate in continuing education classes through Aveda. She is active in the business community and presently on the Board of Women and Business Network and is a Secretary of the Board for the Oromocto and Area Chamber of Commerce. Maureen is proud of her success in building a comfortable, professional and beautiful salon/spa and in creating employment opportunities within the Town of Oromocto. |
